Dear Friends and Family;

It's that time again!  Fish for a Cure is right around the corner.  This will be my 4th year as captain and my 2nd as a Board Member.  It's been very interesting and fun learning about all the ins & outs of such a great organization.  As you all should know last year you helped my team win the inaugural Paul C. Dettor Captain's Challenge; given to the boat with the most money raised.  As the first recipient of this new award I was honored and awestruck.  We raised over $50,000!!!!!  It was truly amazing and I owe it all to you!

This year is a little different as I am in my 1st year of college (which is going well). The team may be different as people have prior obligations or college too. However let me be clear - this year is most important to me! Last year I was carried through by all the support of my father.  But this year marks year 1 of living without him, and I have to say, I think we are doing really well.  He is still the major influence in my life and I owe everything to him and my mom.

As I said, this year is a little more challenging, but just like years past, my goals and visions have not changed. Last year we won, and I love winning!  If we raise half as much money as we did last year I'll be the happiest kid in the world! If we raise more money than we did last year; I don't know what I'd think!!  However much we raise, lets go all out!  We know I'm not as good at fishing as my Dad was, but I'm not bad.  I just care about raising as much money as I can for AAMC's Cancer Center!!  I am really looking forward to this years tournament.  Let's raise a TON of money!  Thank you all for having my back and supporting me!  I am forever grateful!

Your friend, Paul Jr.
