On our 11th Anniversary, Fish For a Cure (F4AC) will continue our efforts to raise a boat load of money in 2017!
Following our 2016 tournament, F4AC made a donation of $350,000 for direct patient support at the Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute at Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC). That takes our cumulative donations to AAMC over $1,350,000. With ten years of successful fundraising, fishing tournaments and shore parties, F4AC is continuing our partnership with EYC, a partner that will enable our organization to maintain its growth and continue to make significant contributions to AAMC. Together, we signed a new 1 million dollar pledge in 2016.
F4AC’s donations are critical in supporting programs such as Nurse Navigators, nutrition, financial and social work positions. These programs provide direct support, hope and peace of mind to cancer patients and their families during and after treatment – all within our community.
Your support is also critical. As F4AC continues to grow, year after year, we are humbled by the support of our local community and local businesses. We understand that our success is not possible without our sponsors, which is why we hope you will consider forging a mutually strategic partnership that will position your organization as a great corporate and community supporter of cancer patients and survivors and a sponsor of the 11th Annual Fish For A Cure Tournament.
