Fish For A Cure (F4AC) is an unmissable experience on fishers’ yearly calendars. Celebrate with a great day of fishing on the Chesapeake Bay followed by the Shore Party where we’ll celebrate the competition for the biggest fish and most dollars raised through the Paul C. Dettor’s Captain’s Challenge. No matter the size of your fish or the amount of money you raise, you can be sure to have a good time! You should be happy in knowing that you are helping F4AC realize its mission of raising funds for cancer care in our community.

Registration will open in April for the 19th Annual F4AC Tournament, Paul C. Dettor Captain’s Challenge, and Shore Party. For questions or more information about F4AC registration, contact fishforacure@luminishealth.org.

What Is A F4AC Boat?

A boat is a team that consists of captains and anglers. Creating a team allows friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, and sponsors to participate in the fundraising challenge of F4AC by making donations to support your boat. In addition to the individual captain and angler pages, a separate boat profile page allows you to highlight your team’s fishing roster and share why your team is fishing.

How Do I Fundraise For My Boat?

Funds donated directly to your individual page may be credited towards your team’s overall goal of reaching its fundraising commitment as a part of the Paul C. Dettor Captain’s Challenge.

Email fishforacure@luminishealth.org for ideas and guidance on how to build a team, how to fundraise for your boat, and for all requests on sharing funds or registration.
