We look forward to another great day spent on the Chesapeake Bay competing for biggest fish and most funds raised with Fish For A Cure (F4AC) on Saturday, Nov. 5. We want to share a few important updates with you as we are just days away from this yearâs F4AC Tournament, Paul C. Dettor Captainâs Challenge, and Shore Party!
Deadline for F4AC Boat Registration â Monday, Oct. 31
The deadline for registration for F4AC 2022 is Monday, Oct. 31. Donât get left dockside â register your boat and anglers today! We will need to know who is definitely fishing from your crew so that we can help upload your teamâs information into the iAngler app.
Captainâs Meeting â Wednesday, Nov. 2
Mark your calendars â the F4AC Captainâs Meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 5-9 p.m. at the Annapolis Maritime Museum and Park, located at 723 Second St., Annapolis, MD. Please find parking information here.
Attendance is mandatory â one crew member from each team must be present to learn about the tournament rules and procedures. Just a reminder that F4AC is now a âCatch and Releaseâ tournament for striped bass. Weâre not only fishing for a good cause, but also helping to sustain the striped bass population in the Chesapeake Bay. Additionally, you can pick up your captainâs buckets and F4AC signature t-shirts at this meeting.
Tournament and Shore Party â Saturday, Nov. 5
Celebrate the completion of the 2022 F4AC tournament and giving season at the Shore Party at the South Annapolis Yacht Center (SAYC), located at 750 Boucher Ave., Annapolis, MD. There will be live music, a buffet-style dinner, and an open bar. Tournament winners and awards will be announced from 4-5 p.m. prior to the Shore Party from 5-9 p.m. Buy tickets to the Shore Party today! Valet parking is available at SAYC on a first come, first served basis.
Deadline for Paul C. Dettor Captainâs Challenge â Saturday, Nov. 5
We want to say thanks to all of you for making headway in the Paul C. Dettor Captainâs Challenge. The deadline for donations is 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5 and every dollar makes a difference for the Cancer Survivorship program at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center’s (LH AAMC) Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute. Check out this yearâs standings and help us raise bucks for boats!
Support The Junior Board â Purchase a Sweatshirt!
The F4AC Junior Board assumes a leadership role in supporting the F4AC Board and LLH AAMC Foundation by raising funds and promoting the F4AC tournament.
Support the Junior Board’s F4AC fundraising efforts in the Paul C. Dettor Captain’s Challenge by purchasing a sweatshirt today! All sales are final on Nov. 11. Sweatshirts will ship in December 2022.
