Dear Friends of Fish For A Cure,
The Fish For A Cure (F4AC) Tournament, Paul C. Dettor Captain’s Challenge, and Shore Party held at the South Annapolis Yacht Centre, our official tournament home, has raised more than $5.5 million over the last 17 years to support the Cancer Survivorship program at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute.
Thanks to your generosity and dedication to this fishing and fundraising event, F4AC 2023 had:

59 boats registered, all of which competed in the Captain’s Challenge with bucks on boats.

More than 350 participating captains and anglers.

The partnership of 64 sponsors and community partners to help make the event possible.

Nearly 3,000 donations made ranging from $5 – $25,000 amounting to more than $650,000 total dollars raised to support the Cancer Survivorship Program at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute.

The #1 boat in the Paul C. Dettor Captain’s Challenge Legends League, Reel Counsel, raised $164,095.20, breaking a fundraising record.

The #1 boat in the Paul C. Dettor Captain’s Challege Open League, Lady Jen and Team Yorktel, raised $72,209.01, also breaking a fundraising record
