Fish For A Cure 2024 Wrapped

Dear Friends of Fish For A Cure,

The Fish For A Cure (F4AC) Tournament, Paul C. Dettor Captain’s Challenge, and Shore Party has raised more than $6.5 million over the last 18 years to support the Cancer Survivorship program at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute. 

Thanks to your generosity and dedication to this fishing and fundraising event, F4AC 2024 had:

• 58 boats registered, all of which competed in the Captain’s Challenge with bucks on boats.
• 58 captains and 123 anglers participated in the tournament 
• The partnership of 84 sponsors and community partners to help make the event possible.
• Nearly 2,700 donations made ranging from $1 to $25,000 amounting to more than $1.1 million total dollars raised to support the Cancer Survivorship Program at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute.

• The #1 boat in the Paul C. Dettor Captain’s Challenge Legends League, Reel Counsel, raised $228,615.23, breaking a fundraising record.
• The #1 boat in the Paul C. Dettor Captain’s Challenge Open League, AllTackle, raised $49,274.61, also breaking a fundraising record.
